Respones to 5 article

Strong gain respect but not imitate.
The article “American Born Chinese” written by Cene Luen Yang are constituted from three stories-the Monkey King (Chin-Kee), Jing Wang (Also Danny) and Wei Chen (Monkey King’s son). They try to integrate into the new environment and accept a new culture. But they were excluded and ridiculed by the new environment of people. Try to accept new things is a positive attitude, but when you be marginalized, do not be inferior, lonely, angry. But through some things to prove yourself to win the respext and acceptance by the new environment. As today's China, when China had just formed, has not been recognized by the world, or even pushed aside by the United States and Europe, but China through the strengthening of military technology, education and culture. Gained recognition in the world, from an invaded country, to the present world power.Everyone has the right to choose what  they want to be but his race can not be changed, Strong gain respect but not imitate.
Survive is victory
The story "Strangers from a different shore" written by Ronald Takaki are talking about the Chinese immigrants came to California because the 'gold mountain' story, but when they arrived , there are only forced isolation, racism, and violence, eonomic exploitation. The first is the tragic fate of migrants, they not only have to overcome language barriers, but also by cultural conflict, the exploitation of local people. However, they survived. Survive is victory, their children may be educated, their grandchildren may have the power, and their great-grandchildren may change these unfair treatment.Kind of like a seed into the soil without adequate sunshine, rain. But they survived, they germinate, take root and grow. Eventually become a tree. This is the life of the transmission.
The life of the transmission

After i reading the article" China Man" by Maxine Hong Kingston I have every reason to believe that this is definitely an article worth reading again. it's talking about the male relatives and covers four generations.Articles by the time the main line, describing the narrative of the immigrant life.Chinese workers as they fight against the unfair treatment of local plays an important role.Appears to be the fate of a family, in fact, it's the fate of a generation, they are the microcosm of  chinese workers live in  the United States.Their interpretation of the tenacious of life, on the fate of the confrontation, and the continuation of love.

The topic of race is eternal
After reading the article "1882 Chinese Exclusion Act", I live in an era of relative peace was lucky,Article about the early California government workers do not want to exclude Chinese immigrants, because they provide essential revenue which helps to fill the financial gap in California, but when they have money, they began to squeeze the Chinese labor.Chinese workers are mostly men, stay alone in the USA or returned to china is the big dilemma for chineses labors.Cruel capitalist exploitation of cheap labor, it is sad and unfortunate time. Backwardness will be invaded. The topic of race is eternal.

Exploitation and discrimination

After reading the article "Angel Island Poems" I feel very sad and dreary,Exploitation and discrimination
is that time, the synonym for Chinese workers.Since anti-bills, the Chinese workers in the United States by the unfair treatment, detention, discrimination, abuse. Labour was anxious, nervous, scared. This is unfortunate nation, respect is not obtained by begging, but by great strength. Now the Chinese people, may not be the year of discrimination, but when those great Chinese people work in the United States has caused American citizens rise in unemployment, this alien race discrimination, bias will re-appear

  1. Hello Anthony2: I wanted to comment on your blog because I knew you were an interesting person from the time Dr. Kulbaga had you tell the class a little about yourself. What has reinforced my initial opinion of you is the fact you blogged on all five essay articles for the first week of readings. Speaking for myself, but I imagine some other members of the class as well, it takes a lot of effort to blog on just one essay due to the fact we are publishing these blogs for all of our classmates to view and critique. I applaud you for taking the initiative to blog on all five. It simply lets me know that you are a solid and confident man and all knows the world can use more men like you.

I’m only going to comment on one of your essays you wrote on Mr. Takaki. The reason for this is I have a home in my heart for what he has to say. I really liked how you summed up the important aspects that Mr. Takaki was trying to express. In your critical analysis you touched on the survival aspects which I too emphasized in my blog on his essay. The integrity these men displayed by looking forward to a better future and achieving it is outstanding. They did not allow the oppression to limit their personal expectations. Thank you Anthony for giving me another chance to see another person’s take on Strangers From A Different Shore.
